E.G.O. commercial cooking plates are designed for use in professional kitchens. They are used in commercial catering and industrial kitchens where reliable, even heat is required for daily (continuous) operation. E.G.O. large cooking plates consist of a robust cast element into which the heating coils are cast. Variants are available with and without a stainless steel rim, as well as for tilting installation. A particular area of application is shipboard galleys, where, for safety reasons, only electric cooking is permitted.
