E.G.O. radiant heating elements – HiLight & EGOnomic for glass-ceramic hobs E.G.O. radiant heating elements are heating elements for glass-ceramic hobs in domestic and professional applications. During operation, the heating element is electrically heated (in EGOnomic® as coils made of resistance wire, in HiLight® as strip heaters) and transfers the heat via the glass-ceramic to the cookware. Radiant heaters differ primarily in shape and power. Suitable components such as 7-position switches, power controllers or electronic controls are required for control. Note on use: 4 mm glass-ceramic is specified for domestic cooking applications, and 6 mm glass-ceramic for commercial kitchen applications. Please use the E.G.O. part number for reliable identification.
