What began as a one-man operation in a Stuttgart basement has since grown into a leading, consultancy-oriented specialist distributor of E.G.O. original components. The Early Days: With a VW Bus and a Pioneer Spirit

The history of today's Seibert Vertriebs GmbH began in 1951. At that time, Karl Klein founded the company as an industrial representative in Stuttgart to ensure the spare parts service of E.G.O. in the Württemberg region. The logistical conditions were simple but effective: goods were stored in a rented coal cellar and delivered weekly to customers by VW bus.

Continuity and Partnership

From the very founding years, one principle stood at the forefront and continues to guide us today: the close partnership with manufacturer E.G.O. and a consistent focus on the needs of our customers.

The Ernst Seibert Era: “Dynamics Is Our Concept”

In the mid-1970s, the business relocated to its site at Eichwiesenring in Stuttgart. When Ernst Seibert took the helm in 1985 and officially renamed the company Seibert Vertriebs-GmbH, he brought a new philosophy with him:

“Dynamics is our concept.”

Under his leadership, the company expanded into two core business divisions: sales and business consulting. Seibert saw himself not merely as a supplier, but as a “company doctor” who identifies symptoms and initiates remedies.

  • Focus on the SME sector: Ernst Seibert specialized in strengthening craft businesses and small companies organizationally and economically through targeted “fitness checks”.
  • Exclusivity & Trust: Even then, the expert team held exclusive distribution rights for E.G.O. components in Baden-Württemberg, supplying trade and industry with a broad range of heating and switching elements.
  • People First: Despite all professionalism, Ernst Seibert always placed people at the center – a value that continues to shape our culture to this day.

Strategic Evolution: From Logistics Provider to Technology Expert

Since 2008, Stefan Seibert has led the family business as the third generation. He consistently drove the realignment: shifting away from pure distribution toward becoming a specialized solution partner.

“We have evolved from a purely logistics-driven operation to a consultancy-oriented sales company,” explains Stefan Seibert.

 Particularly important in this regard are:

  • Technical Expertise: We support our customers early in the development process, for example when designing controls for new appliances.
  • High Stock Availability: Our warehouse program includes over 500 immediately available E.G.O. original parts. By outsourcing logistics to LDB Logistik GmbH and conducting regular audits, we ensure efficient and process-reliable fulfillment.

Why Heating and Control Technology?

We are often asked why we don't expand our range into other areas such as refrigeration technology. Our answer is clear: expertise requires focus. By concentrating on E.G.O. original components, we are able to offer a depth of consultation that goes well beyond simple sales.

  • Technical Consulting: We support OEM appliance manufacturers and service companies in selecting the exact components – from electromechanical controllers to state-of-the-art induction modules.
  • Problem-Solving Competence: When components are discontinued, we work with partners to develop custom solutions or replacements to maintain the operational capability of our customers' systems.

Sustainability Through E.G.O Quality: Repair Instead of Replace

At a time when sustainability is becoming increasingly important, spare parts management is gaining significance. For Seibert Vertriebs GmbH, this is not a trend but a lived philosophy. Through the rapid availability of high-quality components such as immersion heaters, energy regulators, or modern induction modules (MOD1 / Q1), we enable service companies and industry to repair appliances instead of replacing them. This is especially the more economical and ecological choice in commercial professional kitchen technology.

Expansion and Future Outlook

Milestones such as the relocation to Mühlacker in 2015 and the acquisition of the Laur Shop in 2023 have consolidated our market presence throughout Germany. By expanding our sales territory, we have significantly increased our revenue volume and today serve customers across Germany and beyond.
