E.G.O. screw-in radiators are used in domestic and industrial appliances for the direct heating of water or aqueous solutions. Typical applications include, for example, water heaters, instantaneous water heaters, hot water storage tanks and boilers. E.G.O. screw-in radiators are often used in conjunction with heat pumps or solar systems. The screw-in radiators consist of 1–3 tubular heating elements in combination with E.G.O. temperature controllers or temperature limiters. The tubular heating elements and control element form a compact unit. All E.G.O. screw-in radiators feature a 1.5-inch thread for installation.
